Proposals Development Assoc I

? Summary
The Proposal Development Associate is a self-motivated person who understands Mapi Research Trust's services and unique and strategic position within PCS. In line with the PCS sales strategy and specific MRT requirements defined by MRT executive committee, he/she is focused on identifying and contacting potential clients and identifying their needs in relation to MRT and the wider PCS services. He /she presents MRT services to clients and appropriately supports PCS client directors and Author Collaboration Unit to close deals with pharma companies, universities and other. He/she liaises with marketing staff to ensure that the appropriate sales message is used in marketing material and provides advice to operations for prospective products that are aligned with customer demands.
? Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The primary responsibilities of this job include:
1. Prospection :
a. Search for new types of client on social networking sites, through web search and other as defined by MRT executive committee
b. For each type of client define appropriate contact approach (client message and targeted service, deliverer of message, appropriate back-up material) in line with MRT's collaboration with marketing and PCS client directors and MRT sales coordinator
2. Client contact:
a. Service demonstration during cold and follow-up calls
b. Active engagement with clients to understand and interpret their needs to align service presentation.
c. Appropriate implication of MRT sales coordinator, PCS Client directors and ACU for appropriate take-over
d. Closes or helps to close deals
3. Advice for Marketing and operations :
a. Work with Marketing and sales coordinator to tailor messages to client needs
b. Communicate client needs and new ides to operations and ACU for potential new products and services.
4. Travel:
a. Occasional travel required
Education/Experience:
o Education in marketing, business, communication or any related field
o student of any of the above progressing towards degree
o experience in a similar position
o Basic Project Planning Competencies
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Fluent English
Strong customer service orientation
Analytical skills and ability to recognize the demands on the side of the customer
Ability to work as part of the team
Able to work independently but within strategic framework
Willing to learn and ask questions
Can handle many projects/assignments at the same time
Strong organizational skills
Poject management skills
Must be efficient at utilising computer based tools (PC?. Blogs, social media)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
